Using the Rancho Mirage Public Library is easy! If you need help, here's a quick guided tour created by OverDrive, the company that provides downloadable service for us and many other libraries. The guide walks you through the basics, from getting started to downloading to burning to a CD. In just a few minutes, even the newest user can be enjoying a downloaded title.
As the guide is not library specific, there are a few things in it which do not apply to the Rancho Mirage Public Library:
You may have a maximum of 5 titles checked out from the Digital Library.
Downloaded titles are checked out for 7 days and are automatically returned to the library.
The Rancho Mirage Public Library does not currently offer video and music downloads (we may offer this in the future).
If you have any questions about downloadables after you view the tutorial, ask a library staff member or click on "Support" for more assistance.
